The Concert Crawl
The Concert Crawl is Bragg Jam’s main event: a sprawling day of live music at multiple venues in Downtown Macon, Georgia that takes place annually on the final weekend in June. What began decades ago as a small but loving tribute to the Bragg Brothers has grown into an enormous all-day event, and a showcase for some of the finest musical artists in the Southeast and beyond.
In particular, over the years the Bragg Jam bookers and board members have shown an uncanny knack for finding talent on the rise, bands and solo artists who are about to break through and dominate the indie and Americana landscape. This includes then-rising artists such as Jason Isbell, Shakey Graves, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Larkin Poe, Shovels and Rope, Luke Combs, Tank and the Bangas, American Aquarium, and many many more.
The Bragg Jam stages have also been a home to more established acts like Digable Planets, Cracker, of Montreal, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Southern Culture on the Skids, and the Zac Brown Band. More importantly, the Concert Crawl has long been a showcase for beloved local Macon acts and artists from throughout middle Georgia, mingling the familiar and the new in one incredible day of live music and community.
