Meet ZALE, a driven young songstress whose unique musical style combines her classical training, love of the blues narrative, and rock n’ roll attitude. ZALE is touring around the Southeast, promoting her debut solo record "Fortress," which is to be released in March 24, 2015.
The front-woman and songwriter has recorded 2 EP's with her former band Boomfox and has headlined well-known Athens’ venues The Georgia Theatre and 40 Watt Club. ZALE is also a member of a female Americana duo called The Pussywillows with her writing partner and friend, Carly Gibson.
As a recent graduate of The University of Georgia, ZALE earned degrees in Social Media Theory and Music Business and now the soulful songstress is ready to take the next step in her career as a solo artist.
She has been called a combination of Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow with a modern flare. Inspired by love, loss, and the stressful journey to adulthood, ZALE delivers every lyric with heart and passion. “…a fiery combination of soul, grit, and Jack Daniels Honey.” – Casey Hamilton, Perimeter North Magazine
