Molly Stevens grew up singing around the Middle Georgia area and performing in many local theatre productions and shouting the old hymns at little churches along the way. Now she is really digging the song writing thing and enjoys playing her own stuff. Her music is a mix of soul, blues with a little twang and a hint of the gospel feel.... Music influences are Janis Joplin, Dolly Parton, Indigo Girls, Aretha Franklin, Susan Tedeschi and Otis Redding. She has an album out produced by Shane Bridges titled "Long Time Coming," and she opened for the Indigo Girls when they played in Macon.
